Maryna Odendaal obtained a degree in BSc Conservation Ecology, after which she completed her MSc degree in Nematology at the University of Stellenbosch. She preceded to work as a technical assistant for two years, focusing on pest and disease monitoring and insect identification.
She later went on to work as a cover crop specialist for a year, after which she joined Rhino Agrivantage as an Agronomist focusing on cover crops and the use biological control agent to manage pest and diseases in the field.
Maryna has a passion for nature and the outdoors, and during her off time has served as a volunteer firefighter with the Volunteer Wildfire Services for the last five years.
